In the dark there is still light

Or so they say.

Apparently my friend Deb had been complaining of a bad headache at the end of last week and was planning to go to the doctor.  She might even have gone to the doctor, I don't know.  Anyway, when her family hadn't heard from her at the weekend they went round to her flat and found her in bed.  They thought she was asleep but she wasn't.  She was  dead.  It just looked like she was asleep.

I feel like I have been kicked in the stomach.
