Punting on the Avon

We have had a wonderful day exploring the sights of Christchurch.  First stop the Christchurch Art Gallery, which opened for the first time since the earthquake.  Loved it.  I even made it onto TV3 news for all of 3 seconds!!!  (I can't add a photo on my laptop, so will add it as an extra photo when I get home.)  Now added.

Then we went to the Museum, enjoyed seeing the working models designed by Leonardo Da Vinci way back when he was alive in the late 1400's to early 1500's.  We had lunch at The Boat Shed Cafe, where this photo was taken.

While walking around the Container Mall we ran into 2 fellow blippers, Mario, and Mrs Puff.  Lovely to see someone familiar in the 'big smoke'. We had a good chat and catch up.  I have decided to print a book of our holiday in Christchurch, as I have a lot of beautiful photos.
