A Shaggy Dog Story!!

Got myself ready to head into Bath to hit the shops but, for the seventh day in a row, I had to give up on my plans as I didn’t think I’d even make it to the bus stop… Christmas shopping situation getting desperate now…

So instead I finally got around to decorating the tree which took up my entire day, slowly but surely… Nearly every Christmas decoration that I have has a story behind it. In this tin I came across “Shaggy Dog”, made by my brother many years ago out of a matchbox. Every year he demands that it goes on the tree, even if he’s on the other side of the world! And then there’s the little angel that has sat prettily on top of the tree for longer than I can remember. I have happy childhood memories of my father lifting me up to sit her amongst the fairy lights…
