Tyred Christmas Tree!

We had a late night with friends round, but a good time was had by all.

Our friend Tom has found a good use for his old tyres!


It was going to be too sad being at home on our own for the first time, (the other Grandparents are getting the joy this year) so we are off tonight at 1am to drive to Manchester to fly to Geneva and then on the Three Valleys to ski we hope.  (We got a deal in a hostel type place we've been to before, so the xmas dinner will be like school dinners, but hey, we don't care.  Though a lot of the runs are closed due to lack of snow, so we are wearing our walking boots in case that's all we can do.  And I have packed a few books and my iPad - looking forward to it after a hectic few weeks.
