Green Dragon Morris Men

Last light two groups of Morris Men were invited to come and dance at the Kings Head in the village. The Green Dragon Morris Men were a fearsome lot and very impressive as they hit their sticks against one another. I am sure their proper name is not 'sticks' though. Morris dancing is steeped in history and this particular group are featured on You Tube. They were excellent. The other group, equally good from Soham and Ely were a different kind and much quieter. Both groups had excellent musical accompaniments. The rain actually held off whilst they danced.
