The Weather Man

Each day at 10 o'clock the weather readings are taken throughout the country. This is the weather station at Dunbar, East Lothian. The weatherman is removing and replacing the sunshine record for the previous 24 hours. The sun burns a mark in the sensitive card which light is intensified by the glass globe.
