From the ruins of Arnside tower looking north east. The flooding has already receded by a very large amount as last week it came quite a way up the slop.

The Lancaster-Arnside-Barrow railway crosses the centre of the photograph on an embankment. One of the footpaths which I use frequently run along side the railway. It is not possible to use it at present.
