Fat chickens

I've just finished writing out all the new vocab I've learnt from this week's language lessons. There's so much and my poor brain can't remember it all. I go through my cards every morning and gradually it goes in but then it's so quickly forgotten if I don't use it frequently enough.

My favorite K proverb I learnt today was about people becoming rich then having too high an opinion of themselves. Translated it roughly comes out as,
"When chickens get fat their bottoms get tight"!
I'm not sure sure how useful that will be to know!
