Best foot forward!

A very dreich morning ..... the kind of weather that I really dislike. As I walked round the loch a hardy jogger passed me twice and that was it .... I had the birds to myself but the visibility was awful!

Even the gulls find it difficult to walk on the ice .... very entertaining to watch this gull slip and slide over the rather watery ice. The lapwings had gathered on a frozen patch in the centre of the loch but the light was so poor and the distance just too great for my wee camera. I had to content myself with a shot of this black-headed gull.
