With a little imagination ....

you could pretend that these are festive holly berries!

On a rather damp, grey day these red berries on my pyracantha shrub added a little colour to the day. 

I'm helping with the supper tonight at a Christmas Celebration being held in the rather lovely lounge in our local retirement complex.  One of the house groups in our church organises the 'do' and it's always a great success.
