CRAFTING

The VIP and I are crafting.  He has grasped the concept of a limited palette and mixing to get interesting shades, but so far resists the idea of a base coat to be left to dry before applying embellishments.  Well, he's only seven. 

Breakfast with the wonderful Bees at the Cafe Continental, catching occasional glimpses of Strone as it appeared and disappeared through the fog. The hoar frost today was enchanting - it's our first frost of the season - but I was too idle to take my camera out to capture it.  Some amazing shots among fellow blippers!

Son and heir came for a barbecue roast dinner and to catch us up with news of his busy life.  You will think me very sad, but I may round up the evening with a second viewing of last night's Bridge - I don't want to miss any subtle clues and want to review the character development.  Well, it's that or put another coat of paint on the damp patch in the loft.  Which would you chose?
