Christmas decorations.

Our native Pohutukawa trees are usually covered in red blossom around Christmas time so often we refer to them as our Christmas trees. The trees thrive near the coast and we have a number on our property. These are the buds of one of our trees showing distinct promise of putting on a good display for Christmas.
