Eastern delight

In search of some colour on a grey, drizzly day I spent some time mooching around Country and Eastern, an absolute wonderland of treasures from India, Afghanistan, Turkey and other far-flung places.  Some days it seems like only last week that I was in India and Nepal, other days it seems like years ago when it was actually less than a month.

I've selected some of the photos that I took to use to make my end of year cards so spent the afternoon doing that, which lifted my spirits. 

Roland has recently taken on the role of one of the carers of the father of one of our friends, who has dementia.  His shifts are 24 hours on Wednesday/Thursday and then 48 hours Saturday morning to Monday morning which means he will be working each weekend until Christmas, then starts again the first week of the new year.  It's not easy, but Robert is a lovely man.
