Today's the day ...................... to get away from it all

We do it every year - and it's wonderful.

Just when everything starts going completely manic in the shops and elsewhere, we take ourselves off to the complete opposite.  We spend a week in one of our most favourite parts of Scotland, doing whatever the fancy takes us.  If the weather is good, we're off walking.  If it isn't, we stay in, read books, watch films and swim in the pool.  It's a wonderful life.

And this year, we've got the whole family here too.  Anna, Rob and Tessa are here already - and tomorrow, Tim, Melanie and Dominic will arrive.  Down below is a picture of Will and Tessa.  You can see why we think that little girl is going to be a concert pianist ....................
