Christmas trees

Today's the day ........................ to listen

It was Kendal Choral's Christmas Concert tonight in the Parish Church.  The church was full of Christmas trees which had been decorated by the many voluntary organisations to be found in and around the town - the idea being to raise funds for all those good causes.

Back in September this year, I decided that I was not going to continue as a member of Kendal Choral Society.  I just felt the time had come to try something new.  So, for the first time in 25 years, I was in the audience tonight - listening to the performance - rather than taking part in it.

And I have to say that it was rather a nice experience .........................
