Hume's Wheatear
What a gorgeous little bird this is and he(or she, they both look the same)was very well camoflagued in this tree even though the Hume's Wheatear is pure black and white. Apparently it is a common breeding resident up in the North of Oman an area called Musandam and not so common around here, so extra special. Thank you very much for all your lovely comments about my female Kingfisher, it seems to be a very popular bird and it is very special favourite of mine so be prepared to seeing again and getting bored! The extras today are of the area we explored today around Al Amerat and the Hajar mountains. The second extra photo is of the area we stopped for a picnic and saw this Wheatear.
