Ephesus

Backblip

From the port at Kusadasi in Turkey we headed for Ephesus and then St. John's Basilica.  Another incredibly hot and sunny day and even though the coach set off early and we did Ephesus first, we did come across a couple of people who had fainted and had to be taken away by ambulance (there is no shelter at Ephesus - like Pompeii).

The main photo is the Library of Celsus, probably the most recognised sight at Ephesus.  As extras I've included the amphitheatre and a view from the Temple of Artemis, over the fort at Selcuk, the Isa Bey Mosque and I think the edge of St John's Basilica.
