Decorated city

A 'medical afternoon' today, I had both my annual dentist visit and physical scheduled a few hours apart. It turned out to be a lovely afternoon, on which I actually had a valid excuse to walk 5th avenue on a weekday afternoon and could take in the holiday spirit brought on by the beautiful decorations. One of those rare moments on which I actually felt like a New Yorker, especially when I popped into Whole Foods on the way back, sipping my take-out cappu :)
