Canadian Christmas Canoe

Interesting Tuesday, nice and mild but no Internet or email at work. It gave us an opportunity to get caught up other tasks such as filing. We reverted to old-style communication - by telephoning or walking over and having conversations. On my walkabout at noon I wandered through The Hudson's Bay Company. This photo is unusual for 2 reasons, 1) there is no one in the photo - at lunch hour in one of the world's busiest shopping malls just before Christmas, normally you can't even walk at a normal pace, and 2) who displays their wares in a big canoe on a table - 'only in Canada' you say. This display was just so Canadian. Off to spin class tonight to try out a different instructor. Fingers crossed for workplace connectivity tomorrow!
