Passing Time

ok, it's official: I'm bored. Put me in coach: I'm ready to play! ;)

The mayhem from Friday's mega-storm continues -- as do the uncomfortably high temperatures and humidity. The combination of these factors means that I've essentially spent the last three days at home but at least we've got power.

On a quick trip to the store, I noticed something I'd not seen since the 70s: huge lines at gas stations. I'm told it's because a lot of stations are closed for lack of power but also because people are filling jerry cans with gas for their generators, in addition to topping off the tanks of their cars. Such a strange sight...
