None More Black: MonoMonday 97 and DS7 review
From our clear out the loft efforts .... and from the days when I did actually practice the guitar and everything went up to 11!
Thanks to Skeena for hosting monomonday this month.
This week Derelict Sunday was again difficult to pick the stand out images as there are so many good inventive shots. MaisieBeth and I have been through them and these are the ones which caught our eye.
Favourite/Hearts to:
The old capstan Inverculain, wonderful stark processing
Being reclaimed by nature PhiliPhoto Yes – we do love a good bit of processing!
From a bygone era Miffy – more nature reclaiming and a nice angle/composition
Monumental Works Greg Lovett – like the twisting door-less shed and the still square but abandoned building
Tool Box Newbury James love that gritty grungy dusty look
Sown Up Mario Great mono treatment
and stars to:
The Old Dunger Daring to Go like the angle and sense of depth
Painted Red AngelsShare – nice detail and texture in the old door
Yellow ball mrshb70 - like the juxtaposition of the past and the future together
Broken Apothecary7 – a graphical almost abstract interpretation
And extra mentions for:
FreeSpiral, two entries this week!
and
60plus for that slightly unsettling light left on ….
Apologies for not getting round all of the entries and leaving a thanks for entering message - this week is the most heavily loaded in my work rota so free time is in short supply. MaisieBeth and I really do appreciate your efforts in getting out and finding some excellent locations and interpretations for the challenge.
Next week will be DS8 - my last week of hosting!
