Shell we have a paddle?

Apologies for the awful title...best I could do!
Today is a fiesta, actually yesterday was and tomorrow is, so today is called a 'bridge' day...everything remains shut between the 2 holiday days. Asha's school was obviously shut, so we've had a nice day together - a 4 day weekend really does feel like a mini holiday! We met up with Thea and Rudy at the beach, and spent the afternoon nattering and watching the kids play together.

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Living by the sea...feels like it does my soul good just to sit and watch the waves. Such a gift.
2) Walking and talking with the lovely Juan who begs outside our supermarket. We walked to the beach with him...lovely to stroll and natter with him & his dog, Chocolate!
3) Feeling like here is home...today we've met up with friends, had another friend pop in on his way past, walked and nattered with Juan...it all makes me feel like here is becoming more and more home...which is good in the face of feeling slightly unsettled knowing the Claytons will soon be leaving.
