What can I say..

Apologies for my blip absence - but if you've seen the news you'll know that Cumbria is pretty much under water.

Our house had not just never flooded - its never even been a consideration - sure the garden can get pretty boggy - but we've never seen anything like this. Sadly the ground floor partially flooded - but in the end they're only things and things don't mean a thing in the big picture.

A couple of these pics are from friends - but hey, its my journal & this seems like an event worth recording, rivers have reached all time highs, Malham has its first waterfall in living memory & we now have to think about future flood defences.
