Hunting the reindeer

Well our second day with Santa was so much better than yesterday! The weather was a great deal calmer - after a very wet night the day was mostly dry with just one heavy shower. And what happened to those severe gales? They didn't happen here - a mere gentle breeze and even some blue sky and sunshine!

Yesterday we had 12 children in spite of the day-long rain; today we had 31 - a total of 43 compared with 49 last year. There was a big rush (in our terms!) towards the end. Santa said he was delighted to see all those happy little faces!
