Goodnight Katie

Our lovely dog Katie passed away tonight - having suffered a stroke which left her incapacitated.

Given that she was nearly 14 years old, and a year ago was diagnosed with tumours (and hadn't been expected to survive for long) we made the decision to have her put to sleep just before midnight.

Both our son and our daughter were able to make it home to see her one last time.

She had a good last day doing her favourite things, chasing rabbits, puddle running and eating horse poo!
