Always Remember Me

I bought this rose last year but what I only found out recently, when I read the label, was that it was named in memory of PC, Bill Barker, who lost his life preventing drivers using a bridge in Workington if the awful West Cumbrian floods of November 2009.

It rained all day today but I got out in the bright evening to take some shots.
