A planned lie-in this morning until nearly 9, though given the builders were 2 hours late, it could have been longer. They finished off some little jobs, then we had a long discussion with the chauffagiste (stove installer) about our options.

Long story short... He has convinced us to go back to plan 1, more elegant than our plan 2, but more expensive too. The final decision awaits his quotes.

Later, basketball with CarbBoy where his team took another compressive victory, and CB played well despite a swollen eye after a 'firm' tackle, and a hole in his leg (long story).

Now Mr B is with TallGirl at riding, and I've just been reminded that I still haven't done the VAT return. So much for a little sit on the terrace...
