Christmas Tree Festival Day Two

Saturday 5th Dec 2015 (1197)

What a busy village today! As well as our Christmas Tree Festival the Boys Brigade were holding their Christmas Fair in the church hall and the Village were supposed to be having a Christmas market outside on the streets. Because of the high winds and rain the Christmas market had to move into the village hall. People still came and all three locations were packed.

We've had loads of people at the festival. This afternoon I had to go to the local shop to buy more mince pies and we had to place an order with Morrisons to buy the rest of their stock of mulled wine as we'd run out.  There was a great atmosphere all round.

This afternoon we had the local silver band playing carols in church so I thought I'd try a different shot. Low lighting meant a low shutter speed so it wasn't easy.

This evening I have to go to the neighbouring village for their Christmas dinner and entertainment. Tomorrow is the last day of the Christmas Tree Festival.
