To Manchester this morning for the dreaded C******** S*******. We were early enough to get there before the crowds but not quick enough to buy everything before they descended.

Witticism of the day: in HMV I saw a CD by the band Municipal Waste, who are literally rubbish (unless of course you like that sort of thing, which I do in limited quantities, before it does my head in.)
