Making Introductions...

Norman and Stanley came face to face in the living room this afternoon - under close supervision - away from their respective cages.

And all went remarkably well. Here we see the initial contact between the two: Stanley - the smaller of the two animals, and the visitor on Norman's territory - sniffing and nibbling Norman on the forehead between his eyes, while Norman lowered his head as he does for us when he is enjoying (or when he wants) a stroke.

After this it was plain sailing - Norman dividing his time between getting to know Stanley, and coming up and nuzzling up for supportive and encouraging strokes from me.

Eventually they each got on with their own business in different parts of the room, Stanley eventually hopping back into his cage.
