Stirling Castle.

As I was a bit stuck blip-wise, I was glad to see a programme on Channel 5 about our local castle. So a big thank you to them!
The thumbnail shows the much restored and quite beautiful great hall while the main pic is of the bulk (and it is very bulky!) of the castle and its surrounding defensive works.
The extra shot for today is of a restored Renaissance ceiling within the old Royal apartments. This is the famous "Stirling Heads".
