Today Was Cancelled!

The revenge of the superbug - three and a half hours continually trotting between bed and bathroom.

When an intermission arrived, I took immediate advantage of it and retired to bed, sleeping until after midday. 

I had to cancel a planned lunch date with Joy, although in truth, she had been half inclined to cancel herself, as she wasn't feeing too great after lots of church activities this weekend.

To compound the gloominess, we have had more driving rain and high winds, which also meant the trip out in the country could have been hazardous. 

I actually had the idea for this, a rain washed window, while lying in bed. Am not sure whether the barely visible birch tree twigs add to or diminish the idea.
