We took a walk out to Skaill as we had heard a rumor that a huge cliff arch had collapsed in the recent big seas. It was a bracing walk in very fresh, strong winds. Waves driven by the wind sprayed over the tall cliffs and across the waterlogged land. We trudged on until the constant sea spray was joined by pelting hail, I think the dogs were relieved when we turned for home. At the bottom of the cliffs, in a brief bit of shelter, I turned to see Gorgeous and his big rosy grin, blip got. Also an extra shot added, one of the few old style telephone boxes in Orkney.

This week I am at work more than I'll be at home, roll on weekend off..

Oh...and the cliff arch? Still very much intact!
