 Today’s Extra Photos  ...............showing the chrysalis of this butterfly
1:            Photographed yesterday as it is the most eye-catching one to date. They all vary in colour from light brown to these darker colours.
2:            Taken this morning as there were obvious colour changes. It also shows a used chrysalis from yesterday’s butterfly.
3:            A greater spread of the wings showing three of the four rings on the wings.

Up until recently it has been hidden behind layers of shrubs and perennials.
 
NB I had intended waiting until dark for a ‘night photo’ for today’s Mono Monday challenge, but I changed my mind when I saw the photos of this Red Admiral. It is also very late getting dark for us downunder blippers!
