Last Day...

We’re now back in Seattle.  With 2 families leaving at the same time it’s a bit of a thrash to remember everything to close up the island and make 2 trips in the boat.  The 5 PM ferry was totally full -like it is on a summer weekend.. not sure what’s that’s about.  The drive was foggy and cold but OK.  More Grayson Perry postcards waiting in the mail and my blurb books are here!


Since they had on those red shirts, and were putting out some of our driftwood santas  by the cabins, I couldn’t not blip this quick shot of the granddaughters before we left.   But I also like the 2 cormorants in the extra on a walk earlier by a nearby dock —that owl doesn’t seem to be a deterrent…after the cormorants left, a kingfisher perched there…  but perhaps it spooks the seagulls????
