Fifty-six years!

Fifty-six years ago in the sanctuary of my family's church in Cardiff, Maryland,  Bob and I said, "I do!" Tonight we celebrated that long ago event with a date night and dinner at one of our favorite restaurants. As we were digging into our desserts, I realized that unless I acted quickly, we wouldn't have any pictures to commemorate this occasion, so I pulled out my iPhone and snapped this picture of my wonderfully warm, rich, and tasty chocolate cake. It's not the best picture I've ever taken, but, like the vows we made to each other on November 27, 1959, it's definitely a keeper!
