The Art of Tea
We travelled to Didsbury today to meet up with Stef and Oli, our friends from Berlin.
Last time we saw them we met up in Inverness as they were touring Scotland on their honeymoon. A few months on and they are expecting their first baby; Stef has a cute little bump!
We had originally planned to meet them in Costa, but as Mr A put the address into the sat nav, it showed a nearby artisanal cafe so we agreed to meet there instead.
It was a good decision as it was a fab little place with a quirky little bookshop at the back of the cafe. Stef is into books in a big way so she was delighted to be able to browse the shelves.
We caught up with what's been happening since the last time we met; holidays, work, life etc before it was time to take them to the airport for their flight home.
I'm not sure if we will see them again before baby arrives (she's due in April), but as always we have an open invitation to visit anytime. Plus German maternity leave is more generous than here in the UK, which gives us a bigger window to visit before Stef returns to work.
What a lovely way to spend a Sunday.
The title of the blip is the name of the cafe; worth a visit :-)
