MoPo

I have been following a modern poetry MOOC on the Internet for several weeks run by Penn State. It has been hugely popular and is a remarkable free learning experience. Also a pleasant distraction from work on the evenings. I don't know if all MOOCs are up to this standard but we are looking at the future of higher education.

Competed Donna Tarrt the Goldfinch this morning - A had read it last year and it has been on my must reads. Most enjoyable - at 780 pages a challenge but I got through it in a week with a few late night sessions.

A and I also went to see spotlight this afternoon - great movie and well worth seeing.

All cultured out - time for a beer.
