Schotzie

Dear Diary,

Elaine and Brad's little miniature schnauzer, Schotzie, is the the cutest little girl.  She is also a licensed therapy dog and is very well behaved...the perfect house guest.  She patiently waited in the car as we did a bit of shopping and went out to lunch.  No problem since it was 50F today!  Crazy weather we are having.  Most unseasonable.

They all have just left with a take away Thanksgiving feast to enjoy at the hotel tonight at the airport.  They have to catch a very early flight back to Minnesota.  It was just wonderful having them all here and they got me the greatest early Christmas present...a miniature electric leaf blower so I can clean off the seed debris that Gaylord and Company leave all over the back porch each day!  I'm thrilled!  Sweeping just doesn't do the trick.

Now, with all the frenzy of cooking and cleaning I plan to spend a quiet weekend.  Sunday is the first advent service at my little church and other than that I will be stay close to home and count my many blessings.
