st enoch station

One of the four 19th/20thC mainline stations in Glasgow until closure in 1966 when all trains heading for south-west Scotland were moved to overcrowded Central Station
In 1977 the wonderful glass and iron curved train shed was demolished along with St Enoch Hotel
Now stands on this site a gigantic 'greenhouse' housing the St Enoch shopping centre
