Recovery day from major dental work... and I  thought he was my friend!
So playing with my old postcards this is PS Glen Rosa arriving at Millport pier in 1924 the year after G&SW steamers were taken over by LMS railways and the former company steamers were very briefly allowed to keep  a red band as a reminder of the old company colours
This was nicknamed a  'tartan lum' by the Glesca folk holidaying 'doon the watter'
