Good progress today, over 20 miles and a dozen locks. Also, the rain mostly failed to fall.

This morning Marjorie passed through this beautiful, tranquil place, Tixall Wide - which, in a piece of dull literalism, is a wide bit of the canal, at a place called Tixall.
