Stuck in a barrel
Nice and bright with 20C today. Hooray, a rain free day!
Maeve the Deerhound and I had a very nice walk after lunch in the sunshine. We walked straight down the road to the shore then out along the cycle/pedestrian path towards Easthaven, then came back along and crossed the level crossing and had a walk along the beach to the Fishermen's huts at Westhaven. The sea must have been rougher in the last day or two as we noticed lots of crab shells washed up on the shore where the rocks are, both at Westhaven and on the beach near the railway station in Carnoustie earlier this morning.
All quiet at the huts, so I had a potter round the area where a lot of the repairs are done. The Fishermen have an outdoor workbench with a big vice and some tools, and metal barrels with lots of wood stacked nearby to let them have a fire. Just down from this working area there are some big plastic barrels and one had a nice bright buoy stuck in the top. I though it would make a nice bright jolly colourful blip to celebrate the sunshine :-)
