Tomorrow my sweet girls turn One Year Old!!! I cannot believe how fast the year went by. It’s been a crazy, busy, fun, and loud year with these two girls. I have loved to watch them interact with each other, see them fall in love with their big brother, and bring so much love (and chaos) to the house.
 
It was too dark to get my fancy pictures, but I love this picture of Emma I took on my phone tonight, because it perfectly sums up her personality right now.

She likes to give us a good preview of what her terrible twos will be like, and is a very determined and focused little baby. She tries to put on her own clothes, brush her own hair, and tests her boundaries all the time. She has turned out to be so animated like Miles was at this age…with her adorable facial expressions and gestures it’s like she is telling stories all day long.
 

We love you so much, sweet Emma. You brighten everyone’s day when they see you, especially ours.
