Received some sad news this morning of the passing of one of our Swedish relatives. I'm starting to lose count...

One of my Great-Grandfather's worked at the Scandinavian Seamen's Mission in London, and as a consequence, three of my Nan's sisters (she was one of 14!!) married Scandinavians. One sister married a Norwegian and two married Swedes. When I was a child, we used to regularly visit our Swedish relatives. I have many happy memories of Summers spent deep in the forests of southern Sweden...
