As Close to a Cuddle as We get

Ella has been with us for 2 months now, & her jealousy for Bailey (dachshund) still gets the best of her daily. This looks cute, but it's really her beginning to seek dominance of my lap & push him off. Still encouraging them to co-exist, but the little guy is outsized (+ he is just too kind/submissive for his own good). Neither won, so both were offering deep sighs & rolling eyes in defeat over alpha momma!

Early this morning we had the worst thunderstorm since Ella has been here. She paced nervously & kept trying to climb into our bed. I won't give in, but I did sit next to her bed for a few minutes to settle her, & she hid her face in my chest, quickly dozing back to sleep.
