Before the Spooking

Quick blip from my garden: the newest-blooming Daylily. If I were quicker & braver, I could have got a shot of the huge snake in the yard. Hannah spied it & totally freaked out, refusing to go back outside. I made the dogs come in as well, scared of what they'd do if they saw it. My husband won't kill it since it takes care of rodents. Never mind that the rest of the family is spooked by them.
