RCM

First RCM concert and very proud parenting moment. Everyone who attends the Junior Department is put into a choir and tonight two of the choirs performed as part of a fundraising concert. It was all very excellent and a thrill to see Anna up on stage in the Concert Hall.

Though not actually the highlight of the evening which was hearing the three jazz ensembles. It should, of course go without saying that musicians at the RCM are going to be amazing, and yet somehow this hadn't quite sunk in before we got there.

So on a day when I had spent a long morning on roadie duties it was a good reminder of why we are doing it and what an amazing experience it all is for Anna.

And that is pretty much my day. There was a dog walk in the middle and there is about to be a takeout.
