felt tips

no matter how old you get, you can't help but get a little excited by a brand new set of felt tips...

These have a thick and a thin end !!!

I normally prefer pencils, as there's nothing more frustrating than picking up a brightly coloured pen and finding out it's dried out, and it does that scratchy drywash of scrubby faded colour... it feels like a let down and gets in the way of what you're trying to create... But then the flipside is the dense, rich, synthetic oozing shades that you get from a pristine pen ...

They're supposed to be for my workshop with the kiddlywinks tomorrow... but I couldn't resist trying them out first...
