The Wizards of Oz

This is the curtain call of the S3 production The Wizard of Oz, Ms H (just left of Dorothy) is coming on with the crew taking their bow, which they get to do on the final night.

I was at the S3's show last year, Animal Farm, which Ms H was not involved in, but did not appreciate what goes on behind the scenes! There's maybe about 50 crew, media, make-up, lights/sound, props, stage (Ms H), front of house and production... the pupils do it all! Except the band, the staff band... must be their perk.

As for the show... wow... I think I enjoyed it more than the film!! I was really taken aback with the performances and those accents!! Not just American, but Kansas... probably! It really was great to see them all working together, I hope they remember this well.

It was also great to see Ms H put her all into it, particularly the long days and late nights and being part of the team with new friends... it must be such fun!

All stops until May/June! Some serious stuff to do now...
